But please remember that in order for you to have a quality fire, your firewood must be dry. This is why it is important to store your wood. It will keep it away from any insects and termites that may destroy the wood and it will also keep it dry and away from getting moist, filled with mold and mildew. This is really important when creating your fire, since if your firewood is not the way it should be (dry and bug-free) it will not heat well enough o burn properly and will cause a bad, unwanted smoke.
